Whether supporting someone through chronic pain, nerve sensitivity, post-surgical recovery, or emotional & psychological trauma, my focus is always on holistic care that honours both science and soul.
My own recovery from head injury and chronic pain taught me what it feels like to live in uncertainty in a body and mind hypersensitive to pain. I learned that healing only begins when all parts of ourselves are met.
Big shifts happen when we understand that stress & trauma actually affect our nervous system by increasing pain & physical symptoms.
Only then can we finally stop fighting our bodies and start working with them.
Every session includes education & reflection:
Exploring which physical structures are involved in your pain,
& How stress, emotions and thought patterns influence pain,
& How to work with rather than against your body.
Understanding your pain is often the first empowering step toward freedom.
Rebuilding trust in your body is where lasting change occurs.
I continue to study both medical science & embodied wisdom through my ongoing osteopathic training, Qi Gong, & meditation practice. These two worlds: the anatomical and the mindful, constantly inform one another in my work.
Alongside my one-to-one clinical practice, I teach mindfulness and movement workshops, lead corporate wellbeing days, and am developing online recovery courses to support home healing.
