The East Surrey Dance Festival has been under way at the Harlequin Theatre in Redhill , with more than 1,000 children from primary and secondary schools across East Surrey taking part.
The event featured seven performances from students of schools in the area, including the Beacon, Warwick School, St Marys, St Matthew’s and Charlwood.
Each year the event, which is organised by Star Steppers, supports a charity that is personal to a family taking part. This year they are supporting children’s hospice charity, Shooting Star Chase .
Tickets were £6.50 with programme sales going to the children’s hospice.
Star Steppers organiser Anna Judge said at the time: “We had 21 schools plus our Star Steppers performing arts students put five performances on across three days, from Tuesday to Wednesday.
“Things are going really well, it’s been a great success so far and there have been lots of exciting and good dance pieces.
